Notes from each restaurant
Carson’s Food & Drink. The restaurant’s site says brunch is served Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It has two locations, Carson’s on Main downtown and Carson’s at Andover on Todds Road.
Doodles. The North Limestone breakfast and lunch spot, at the corner of North Limestone and Third Street, is closed Monday. Its menu has a brunch section served all day on Saturday and Sunday, and it offers patio, indoor dining and takeout.
Epping’s on Eastside. Brunch Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; dinner from 4 p.m.; closed Monday. The restaurant says it adds a 3% processing fee to credit card payments.
Granddam. The dining hall off the lobby of the Manchester hotel in the Distillery District serves breakfast daily from 7 to 11 a.m. and brunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, and Granddam says there is free parking directly across Manchester Street until 6 p.m.
Honeywood. At The Summit at Fritz Farm, with free covered parking off Tiverton Way, according to the restaurant. Brunch is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Merrick Inn. The restaurant describes its Sunday brunch buffet as “celebrated.” Brunch runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and dinner follows from 4 p.m.
